Australia and the Pacific’s turn: the top islands (part II)

And here we go again with the ranking of the most paradisiacal islands of the world. Today we talk about the top three islands in the Pacific Ocean. Have a guess which island we will be taking about below.

1. Palau (Philippinean Sea, South Pacific).

Don’t miss this aquatic paradise if you are looking for something exotic within the exotic. The locals have done a great job preserving the submarine world which makes the diversity and watching of big fish is incomparable.

2. Moorea (Archipiélago de la Sociedad, Polinesia Francesa)

The beautiful and exuberant landscape, the beaches and exquisite restaurants are the most distinguished aspects of Moorea. The tropical beauty of the islands paired with a French touch makes a great offer for all kind of activities such as taking a swim in the amazing lagoons, exploring the inland on foot or by scooter (or even taking a local public bus is a very interesting experience). If you prefer, you can also sail along its coast with your sailboat or catamaran, an experience you won’t regret for sure!

3. Rangiroa y Tuamotus (French Polynesia)

The biggest atoll of the Tuamotu Archipelago, Rangiroa is a diver’s paradise, offering the possibility to watch dolphins. Drop the anchor and wait for the hours to pass under the sun or under water, an experience from another world.

4. Bora Bora (French Polynesia)

Bora Bora is the perfect place to relax thanks to its impressive tropical beauty and the friendly locals. Described as an island a million years away from the real world, Bora Bora is as beautiful under as above the water. The astonishing aquatic life makes it possible to swim with milliones of sea animals.

5. Raiatea (French Polynesia)

This island is simply charming: as beautiful as Tahiti and Bora Bora, with splendid beaches, but not this touristic. The clear water will make you speechless, as well or more than the palm trees growing just next to the sea. Sun, sand and tranquility… that’s all.

So, what do you think? Amazing islands, indeed. To decide for one is not an easy task, as each and every one has something special that makes it different and unique.
