Sailing in Split
Split is in the middle of the Dalmatian Coast, one of the most beautiful Adriatic places for sailing. That’s why if you go to Split for Ultra Europe we suggest you a boat route through the area. The city of Split was founded during the Roman Empire, so on land you can visit monuments and buildings of historical significance. Near the city there are many beaches and coves that are ideal for spending a relaxing time. In addition, off its coast take place numerous regattas. The climate and landscape in the area of Split are fully Mediterranean and the clear water of this part of the Adriatic is ideal to spend a few days aboard.
The islands and islets of the Dalmatian Coast encourage you to navigate between them and know their beautiful beaches and charming villages. Split has several large islands off its coast. Brac, Hvar and Vis are the largest. A few miles further south are the islands of Korcula and Mljet that you can also know with this sailing itinerary for Dubrovnik.
